Neal is a hands-on Registered Builder with over 35 years of industry experience, specialising in structural wall modifications, complex residential alterations, and chimney/fireplace removals. Bringing deep technical knowledge and practical expertise to every project, he works closely with the clients, and Operations, right from initial contact, site visits, and planning, through to delivery and completion, ensuring each build is well prepared and executed, and ensuring the renovation process is enjoyable and to high standards for all involved.

Once onsite works commence, your communication naturally transitions more to Neal as he is hands on, coordinating and delivering your project throughout the construction phase. With a strong focus on structural integrity, compliance and workmanship, Neal partners closely with the Operations team and specialist skilled suppliers and trades (such as engineers, material suppliers, bricklayers, and plasterers) to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard that we at Melbourne Wall Removals and Melbourne Chimney Removals expect.

Respected for both experience and approachability, Neal combines strategic oversight with practical involvement on site, guiding the team and clients alike through each stage of the build with confidence and clarity.

Tanya Matthews

Company Operations

Tanya leads company operations, working closely with Neal (Registered Builder) overseeing projects from initial enquiry through to commencement and ensuring a seamless transition into construction.

With responsibility for regulatory processes, supplier liaison, client liaison and management of the building permit process and other regulatory obligations, she provides strategic oversight during the critical early stages of each project. Clients work closely with Tanya throughout quoting, planning and approvals, benefiting from clear communication, strong regulatory & building knowledge and structured project preparation.

Once construction begins, day-to-day site communication increases with Neal (Registered Builder), while Tanya continues to provide executive operational oversight and administrative direction behind the scenes. Bringing both leadership and practical industry understanding, Tanya plays a key role in maintaining quality, compliance and smooth project delivery across the business.

Yves

With hands-on experience across framing, structural alterations and general carpentry, Yves brings practical skill and a strong enquirer mindset to every project.

He works efficiently while maintaining high standards of finish and site safety, contributing to smooth project delivery and satisfied clients.

Luke

Luke is an experienced carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship and teamwork. From structural installations to detailed finishing work, he approaches every task with professionalism and care.

His positive attitude and dependable nature make him a key part of delivering successful outcomes on site.

Dave

Dave is a reliable labourer who assists the team across all onsite works, supporting carpenters with tools, preparation and general site duties. Hard-working and practical, he helps ensure projects run smoothly and safely from start to finish.

Known for his easy-going and positive attitude, and a gift for storytelling, Dave keeps morale high on site and is always ready to share a good story during a break.
